No, Bill Hicks and Tommy Cooper haven't risen and donned mortar boards - what I'm talking about here is the graphic medium in which words and images are utilised in order to convey a narrative (thanks Wikipedia). This started when I came across these REALLY easy to use online comic-strip creators (go on, try one!):

Hi Biluś
Have you heard of toondoo - http://www.toondoo.com/. It's another great comics creator. Well worth a visit.
Patricia
Thanks Patricia,
It IS good, isn't it - especially the 'books' feature which is a great way to present a longer toon. I've updated my list here - thanks a lot!
Cheers, Biluś :-)
Big comic fan here, both in and out of the classroom. I've found several resources online at http://www.dedicatedteacher.com which have helped me when teaching my classes how to write comics. Also, the site has ebooks that focus on using comics as learning aids, which can be very effective with some students.
Thanks for the tip, Ben!
