Well, after blogging about a free event, here's a list of 101 free downloads and services collected together by PC World. Actually, they're not 'undiscovered' as they claim, I'm familiar with many here, however there are a few suprises, so it's well worth spending an idle few minutes (the day's full of them, isn't it!) having a browse.
I would have liked a short description of each freebie, but the 'best bets' list is helpful. I'm going to be checking out Songbird, which looks like a very nice media player and I can see DVD Flick being useful if you've got a cupboard full of old video files and want to burn a workable version to DVD. Let me know which ones you discover...
